Project Description

Perini Management Services rehabilitated five electrical substations in Port-au-Prince, Haiti following the 2010 Earthquake. Perini tested existing equipment, procured five new transformers and relocated eight others that were already owned by the Haiti electrical utility. The work also included repairs to perimeter fencing and substation buildings and installation of SCADA systems. We implemented a stringent safety training program for our local unskilled laborers that resulted in zero safety incidents.
