Project Description

Perini Management Services furnished and installed a 40 MW LM6000 PC dual fuel gas and distillate turbine generator set  in southwestern Iraq under the Restore Iraqi Electricity Program. This was a completely new power station at a remote desert location. The scope included all site preparations; supply, installation, and commissioning of the generator set and switchgear; engineering and construction of the plant substation and interconnection; and complete ancillary facilities (diesel fuel containment tanks, fuel treatment and forwarding systems, and a natural gas compressor). Value = $71,000,000
