Project Description

Perini Management Services led a design-build team to construct a new building annex for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Operations Squadron in a secure area of Schriever Air Force Base. The building is connected to the existing NRO operations facility via a second story pedestrian bridge. The  annex is constructed of architectural pre-cast concrete wall panels with a steel frame structure and includes a dual height curtain wall. The building was designed and constructed to meet AT/FB and SCIF standards to support the NRO's mission of providing satellite reconnaissance to various government agencies.

“The overall feedback on the new building construction is very positive from the NRO users and the NRO Director. There was much praise for the final product at the B403 ribbon cutting ceremony on 21 March 2017.”
