Project Description

Perini Management Services led the design and construction of complex mechanical and electrical upgrades at three Early Warning Radar facilities in preparation for upgrades to the Ground Based Missile Defense System. The scope included installation of telephone, LAN, shielded enclosures and physical security systems. Work was performed in accordance with Tempest regulations and met RF and HEMP shielding criteria. All sites were at remote locations, including Shemya Island in the Aleutian chain of Alaska.

“Perini had many direct/indirect customers, including Raytheon, Boeing, USAF and the RAF. All were very satisfied with Perini's performance. I have nothing but the highest respect and admiration of Perini and its performance.”
