Perini Management Services, Inc., is serving as the prime contractor for the construction of the new North Equipment Airlock (NEAL) addition to the existing Eastern Processing Facility (EPF) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. The new addition will be approximately 8,500 square feet, over 120 feet high, and adjacent to the north wall of the existing North Transfer Aisle. The NEAL will be a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) constructed to Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) requirements with sound attenuation for walls and floors, Radio Frequency Shielding, and Electronic Security Systems. Project specifications also require Class 8 Cleanroom compliance.
