Project Description

Perini Management Services designed and constructed this renovation project to consolidate similar functions within the Chancery Building and create office space for off-site personnel to relocate within the Islamabad Embassy Compound.  A significant element of scope was the replacement of the Chancery chiller plant heating and cooling system and installation of a Direct Digital Control System. We also constructed a new guard booth and relocated and expanded the Chancery kitchen. We performed the project concurrently with an $11 million security upgrade project at the Embassy during a time of political unrest in Pakistan.

“The Perini team worked on and completed the project under less-than-ideal circumstances which included the need to work every day under a very rigorous security regime. Despite these difficulties and a demanding, phased schedule ... your team delivered well-constructed, functional and attractive facilities as contracted.”
