Design-Build Pre-Fabricated Dormitory, Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC), Glynco, Georgia
PMSI received a $40.9 million task order contract under the Homeland Security National Multiple Award Construction Contract II (NMACC II). The project includes the design and construction of a dormitory that will be built utilizing modular construction methods. This will be PMSI’s third task order at the Glynco campus.

Renovations of the Cadet Field House, Phase 2, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado
PMSI received a $26 million contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District for the renovations of the Cadet Field House, Phase 2. The work will take place at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs and includes phased renovations to the hockey & basketball arenas, installation of fire suppression systems, mechanical upgrades and anti-terrorism upgrades to the building envelope. PMSI recently completed the Phase 1 renovations, which were well received by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Academy.

Perini awarded Carlsbad Caverns National Park Elevators 1 and 2 Replacement Project
Perini Management Services will be implementing a Tutor Perini project for the National Park Service located at Carlsbad Caverns National Park in New Mexico. The $16.7 million project will replace all components of service elevators 1 & 2, including cars, counterweights, elevator ropes, and all associated equipment. The existing corroded steel support structure will also be removed and replaced with a new support structure fabricated entirely of corrosion resistant stainless steel. New vertical elevator and counterweight rails will also be installed. This is our fourth project at the unique Carlsbad Caverns since 2013.

Perini awarded Construction of Classroom and Office Modular Buildings at FLETC Glynco, GA
Perini Management Services will be implementing a Tutor Perini task order contract under our Homeland Security National Multiple Award Construction Contract II (NMACC II) at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, Georgia. The $12.7 million project involves design, procurement, and installation of seven (7) modular buildings, which consists of 5 Classroom Buildings, an Office Building, and a Restroom Building. Scope includes canopy and gazebo structures, site preparation, and utility work. This is our second project at FLETC Glynco, as we were awarded a similar contract to provide modular units in 2016.

Perini to provide Seismic Upgrades and Structural Stabilization of Alcatraz Prison Hospital for the NPS
Perini Management Services will be implementing a Tutor Perini contract for the National Park Service for work at historic Alcatraz Island, the once notorious former penitentiary located in San Francisco, California. The $8 million project involves removal and replacement of portions of an existing concrete wall with a new reinforced concrete wall, located between the cellhouse and the hospital wing, at the basement, 1st, and 2nd floor levels. The scope of work includes shoring of the existing structure, scaffolding, hazardous material abatement, concrete cutting, selective demolition, installation of micropiles, electrical work to support demolition and new work, and new finishes to match existing. The project also includes work in the Barracks Building, including bracing and shoring of structure, hazardous material abatement, selective demolition, removal and disposal of existing debris piles, and repair of specified wood columns, beams and joists. This is our second award at Alcatraz, as previously Perini successfully performed a Cellhouse restoration project for the NPS during 2015 through 2017.

Perini Management Services, Inc., has been awarded a fixed-price task order valued at approximately $45.7 million by the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineer Center for work at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida. The project entails the construction of a new North Equipment Airlock (NEAL) addition to the existing Eastern Processing Facility (EPF) with an option for a Payload Access Encapsulation Storage (PAES) addition. The height of the additions range from over 120 feet for the NEAL to almost 170 feet for the PAES.
Mobilization is expected to commence in June with completion anticipated in October 2021.
