Perini to Manage Design & Construction of $104 Million Project in Saudi Arabia

Perini Management Services was awarded a design-build project for multiple facilities at King Abdulaziz Air Base in Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the U.S. Air Force Worldwide Engineering and Construction contract. The project includes a squadron operations facility, hangars, storage facility, aircraft apron and taxiways and supporting infrastructure at an existing Royal Saudi Air Force Base.

Perini Receives Phase I contract for Repair Cadet Field House at US Air Force Academy

Perini was awarded a $28 million contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, for the first phase of renovations at the USAFA Cadet Field House. The project entails extensive mechanical upgrades and the installation of a geothermal system. Additional work includes electrical and lighting replacement and repairs to the building envelope. The facility will remain occupied and operational during the entire course of the two-year project.

Perini to Complete Five Projects for Surety at U.S. Air Force Bases

A major surety company has awarded five projects to Perini following termination of the original contractor. The projects are located at Wright Patterson AFB in Ohio, Scott AFB in Illinois, Offut AFB in Nebraska, and F.E. Warren AFB in Wyoming. The projects are all design-build with one nearly completed and four that had not yet started construction. Perini has been providing nationwide completion services to sureties for more than 15 years and has an excellent record of correcting deficiencies and delivering high quality finished facilities to the project Owners.

Construction begins at Gateway National Recreation Area Sandy Hook Unit

Perini broke ground in early February for a National Park Services contract to construct new maintenance facilities within the historic Fort Hancock section of the Gateway National Recreation Area in New Jersey. The project consists of the renovation of two existing historic buildings to serve as a wood shop and administrative building, and new construction of an auto shop and parking/storage structure, along with extensive site work within the 7-acre area.
