Perini Management Services receives USACE contract at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey

Perini Management Services was awarded a project at Picatinny Arsenal to finalize construction of the Explosive Research Development Laboratory Facility (ERDLF). The facility had been left in an unfinished state for more than five years following the default of the original contractor. Perini has previously completed two other partially constructed projects at Picatinny Arsenal under our Surety Services program. The ERDLF consists of three buildings with enclosed walkways, and other related site improvements. The USACE-New York District is the contracting agency.

Tutor Perini awarded USAF task order in Skwierzyna, Poland

Perini Management Services, Inc. is executing a newly awarded task-order under the Tutor Perini SATOC contract with the U.S. Air Force. The project, located at an existing Polish military base, supports a U.S. military program that is working in partnership with European allies to establish joint readiness centers with pre-positioned equipment and training facilities as part of NATO defense planning. The scope of work includes both renovations to existing maintenance and storage facilities, and new construction of a vehicle maintenance facility, motor pool, wash rack and other site improvements such as interior roads, fencing and lighting.

U.S. Coast Guard Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Base Kodiak, Alaska

The U.S. Coast Guard held a ribbon cutting ceremony on September 17, 2016 to celebrate the completion of the Upper Government Hill housing project at Base Kodiak, Alaska. Perini Management Services delivered this $20 million design-build project ahead of schedule, providing 10 duplex buildings (20 additional housing units) and site improvements at the remote USCG base. The units were designed to withstand the harsh island weather conditions and are LEED for Homes certified.

Tutor Perini awarded Construction of TSA Modular Buildings, FLETC GA

Perini Management Services, Inc. is executing a newly awarded Tutor Perini task-order under our Homeland Security National Multiple Award Construction Contract at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, Georgia. The project involves  providing and installing nine modular buildings (approximately 73,260 square feet), which consists of 3 Classroom Buildings, a Simulation Building, 4 Checkpoint Buildings and a Restroom Building to be used for TSA training Scope includes canopy and gazebo structures, site preparation, and utility work.

Perini Exhibits at the SAME Joint Engineer Training Conference & Expo in Phoenix

For the 13th consecutive year, Perini Management Services exhibited at the Society of American Military Engineers annual conference and training event. This event brings together members of the uniformed services engineering and contracting community with the engineering and construction industry for sharing information and trends in government contracting requirements.

Perini awarded Completion Project in Puerto Rico

Perini Management Services, Inc. has been awarded the contract completion of a public housing modernization project in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The work consists of finishing the renovations of 11 multi-story, concrete framed residential buildings, a day care center, and community building, which had been stopped due to default by the original contractor. Perini has been providing consulting and construction completion services to sureties for over 15 years.

Repair Work Gets Underway at Alcatraz Island

The preparatory work of scaffold erection, lead abatement, and preparation of repair mock-ups for the first phase of the project is nearly complete, clearing the way for the exterior repair work to begin on a production basis. The project focus is to repair corroding concrete, cathodic protection systems, and deteriorating windows and doors in the historic Cellhouse building. (Read More: Feature Project)

Tutor Perini awarded Electrical Repairs at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho

Perini Management Services, Inc. is executing the newly awarded Tutor Perini task-order for electrical distribution work at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho under the USAF SATOC program. The project will convert “D” circuit in the Munitions Storage Area (MSA) from overhead primary and secondary distribution to underground. PMSI will manage the project as the prime contractor, working with a local small business for the construction.
